DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

This course provides the basic knowledge for the students to enter in to the hospitality Industry. It includes Front office Operations Management, Introduction about the hospitality industry, Accommodation Operations Management, Front Office Operations Management, Banquet Operations Management and techniques for Strategic Marketing in the hospitality Industry. This programme motivates students to enhance hospitality skills and team work. All the classes are conducted face to face facilitation.

Course Withdrawal/Transfer and Refund Policy

Students who wish to withdraw or transfer to another programme must notify Jurong Academy in writing before the commencement of the course. Application fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The following refund policy applies:

Refund of Course Fee (%) If Student's written notice of withdrawal is received
100% ("Maximum Refund") More than [30] days before the Course Commencement Date
75% Before, but not more than [30] days before the Course Commencement Date
25% After, but not more than [5] days after the Course Commencement Date
10% More than [5] days after the Course Commencement Date, but not more than 10 days after the Course Commencement Date
0% More than 10 days after the Course Commencement Date

ASSESSMENT MODE

  • Assessment method - Written examination
  • Exams conducted by Jurong Academy
  • Jurong academy will award Diploma in Hospitality Management to students who pass the written examination in all the modules.

ENTRY QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum 3 GCE 'O' level including English or Matured candidates with at least 25 years old and Minimum 3 years of working experience with Pass in JA Entry Proficiency Test or Any equivalent qualifications.
